Short but sweet

This post won't be too long, mostly because I haven't been doing much in the way of fashion/DIY-ing lately. I'm blaming it on school/work/holidays/the flu. Fun times.

Anways, I was at Target the other day and spotted something glorious:

Yet another example of my horrifying photography skills.

It's hard to tell, but the sweater is navy blue and the stripes are made of sequins of varying shades of green, blue, and silver. I saw it and loved it, but didn't pick it up at first. I was thinking of maybe doing a diy like this, but then I saw it was on sale for 8 dollars! I'm all into doing it myself, but not all the time.

My inspiration today comes from...my niece! Wish I could rock the multi-colored stripes as amazingly as she does!

Happy 2013!

I know I've been m.i.a. for the last two months. It's been pretty hectic, but I'm looking forward to getting back into the crafting/fashion/diy mood!

I don’t usually make new years resolutions, because I don’t think that the passing of some arbitrary date is going to magically make me suddenly do something new. But this year is a little different. I don’t have any resolutions, but I do have some pretty interesting stuff planned, and I’m excited to see how everything goes. 

I hope everyone has a happy 2013!
